Kenneth Kirkland of KAF named Chair of the Board of South Shore Hospital

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Kenneth Kirkland of Braintree, a founding member and Managing Partner of Kirkland Albrecht & Fredrickson, LLC (KAF) one of the leading CPA firms in the Boston area, has been elected as Chair of the Board of Directors of South Shore Hospital.

As such, Kirkland will head the volunteer Board of Directors that governs South Shore Hospital, a leading regional provider of acute, outpatient, home health, and hospice care to approximately 725,000 residents of Southeastern Massachusetts. South Shore Hospital is a subsidiary of South Shore Health and Educational Corporation. Both are charitable, not-for-profit, tax-exempt organizations.
Kirkland, who earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from Bentley College, has more than 28 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax services, and the design and implementation of acquisition strategies.
In addition to his role on the Board of Directors of South Shore Hospital, Kirkland is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs (MSCPA); and past Chair of the Board of Directors of the accounting association JHI International.
