The Plight of the Combi Boiler

Jan. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The combination, or ‘combi’ boiler, is one of the UK’s top selling heating products, accounting for around 1 million of all boiler sales to UK households. The popularity of the Combi Boiler is something that has come about relatively quickly, with it’s technology only reaching the UK’s shores in the 1980s. After being introduced to Britain, the installation and the Boiler itself posed a learning curve for our Plumbers, and with little choice to begin with it provided the opportunity for further development of the product; moulding it to better suit the needs and wants of the typical UK household.

With initial design issues out of the way, the Combi Boiler had its chance to shine and people began to realise it’s potential and the benefits it had to offer. Installers and engineers noticed the reduced installation time, flexibility in location and the reduced amount of components. End-users enjoyed the convenience of hot water on demand and the Combi Boiler’s space saving benefits.
