Learning Environments 2013 Opens Next Week
Administrators, educators, architects, designers and engineers concerned about building and construction for K-12 and higher education will meet face-to-face next week during the all-new 2013 Learning Environments conference and expo event.
Learning Environments 2013 takes place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Jan. 29 through Jan. 31, and features the latest facilities design and planning information and resources serving the K-12 and higher education markets. New for 2013 are poster sessions presenting unique, cost effective solutions for a wide variety of facility administrator’
This year’s schedule will feature concurrent sessions focused on innovation implementation, planning and design sustainability, new construction and reconstruction, architecture abroad, building reuse and adaptation, master planning and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to earn up to 11.5 AIA Continuing Education Hours by attending the full conference program. Learning Environments also offers you the chance to explore additional areas of technology and its application to schools and campuses through its co-location with FETC.
Known worldwide for its outstanding program, FETC provides educators, administrators, deans, curriculum designers, media specialists and technology directors the opportunity to explore the integration of technology across the curriculum. Note: Media representatives interested in attending and covering Learning Environments 2013 can register online at www.lexxpopress.com or on-site in room S220D of the Orange County Convention Center. Learning Environments 2013 will feature an on-site Press Room where registered media representatives can schedule interviews, work stories or just relax. The Press Room will be open Tuesday, Jan. 29 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m.); Wednesday, Jan. 30 (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.); and Thursday, Jan. 31 (8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.). Media representatives are required to register and will not be admitted into any Learning Environments venues without a badge issued by Learning Environments press staff. There is no cost for media registration.
