Michael Pfeifer Among Panelist at ACI’s 10th National Forum

Mr. Pfeifer has over 35 years of experience representing clients in the financial services industry, with particular emphasis on lender liability defense, financial fraud investigation and recovery, regulatory compliance, and creditor representation in bankruptcy. He is currently General Counsel, a member of the Board of Directors, and the Chair of the Quality Assurance Committee for the California Mortgage Bankers Association. Mr. Pfeifer has been ranked AV-Preeminent for legal ability and ethical standards by his peers for over 25 years. He is an accomplished author and has published articles in a variety of leading trade journals including Mortgage Banking Magazine, Mortgage Finance, Mortgage Matters, Servicing Management, and publications of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Pfeifer is also a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars sponsored by various industry organizations, including the CMBA, MBA and American Conference Institute, on the subjects of lender liability defense, mortgage fraud recovery, repurchase disputes, predatory lending, and regulatory compliance.
