WAC Consulting Group Announces Upcoming Omega Tour

Jan. 14, 2013 - PRLog -- The WAC Consulting Group, in conjunction with over twenty other local and national Sage Partners, today announced the launch of the Sage Pro and PFW Omega Tour. The purpose of the Tour is to educate current Sage Pro and PFW ERP users on the product’s future roadmaps. The Omega Tour is scheduled to be held in eleven states across the country.  A new web site for the event (www.omega-tour.com) will be launched by Friday, January 18, 2013 with further information and registration instructions for each location.

The tour has been organized in response to Sage’s recent announcement that Sage Pro and PFW ERP will be retired effective March 31, 2014 (so as you can see, the road is short); all Sage Pro and PFW customers are encourage to attend the tour. The focus areas of the Omega Tour include a better understanding of ERP migration opportunities within the Sage portfolio for Sage Pro and PFW customers, the consequences of maintaining their current ERP system, meeting the local resources that can assist in making a decision and supporting their business management software, and reviewing third party applications.

The tour will start in Houston, Texas on February 21, 2013 and end in San Rafael, California on March 15, 2013. The events will run from approximately 8:30 am – 1:30 pm and contain a full line-up of content-rich sessions presented by Sage, select ISV’s (Independent Software Vendors) and Sage Pro and PFW Partners. The event is currently scheduled to be held in Washington DC, New York, New Jersey, Tennessee, New England, Illinois, Indiana, Florida, Texas and California.

In addition to the local Sage partners, the lead partner and event organizer, WAC Consulting Group, has coordinated a group of Sage third-party developers and add-on providers to present information on Ecommerce, Payment Processing,  EDI and others with ample opportunity for participants to network with presenters and ask questions.
