Fragrance Direct Reviews New Celeb Perfumes Launching in 2013

Eau de One Direction

It almost seemed inevitable as their global profile continued to rise, but it has now been confirmed that One Direction, undoubtedly the biggest boyband on the planet right now, are set to release their own fragrance for women next year. The band has teamed up with Olivann Beauty to produce the as yet untitled perfume, which is set to hit the market in the latter stages of 2013.

Adam Levine – 222

The Maroon 5 frontman will also launch his debut perfume, 222, next year. The fragrance is suitable for both men and women, and according to a press release, the aroma of 222 will “reflect Levine’s personality and style”. So for those who want to capture the essence of the Payphone singer, 222 by Adam Levine will be released in May next year.

The Olson Twins – Elizabeth and James

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson have been TV stars, college students and fashion designers, and now the high-flying twins are set to make their mark on the perfume industry. The pair have joined forces with Sephora to release their debut fragrance for women under their Elizabeth and James fashion label, named after their other siblings, and the scent should be hitting the shelves in March 2013.

Heidi Klum – Surprise

Heidi Klum has established herself as one of the world’s most famous supermodels, and the German beauty will be releasing her debut perfume for women, Surprise, in February of next year. Described as a fruity and floral scent, Surprise will features notes such as mandarin, pink pepper, rose, magnolia, benzoin and sandalwood.

There are already plenty of high profile names slated to release fragrances in 2013, with everybody from supermodels to boybands getting involved in the ever expanding celebrity perfume market. It will be interesting to see which other celebrities jump on the perfume bandwagon next year.
