By: Shore Productions Anyone can enter the Battle with Prophet from 7Lions Contest by simply challenging Prophet to a rap battle from the Rap Wars mobile app on iPhone, iPad, or Android device. The GRAND PRIZE winner will receive a thirty minute rap mentoring session with Prophet and a Rap Prize Pack containing 7Lions and Rap Wars merchandise. There will also be four FIRST PRIZE winners who will receive the Rap Prize Pack which includes a signed 7Lions poster autographed by all members of the band, the latest 7Lions album Born 2 Run on CD, 7Lions sun glasses, a 7Lions bracelet and a Rap Wars flexfit ball cap. “Prophet and 7Lions have created a very innovative sound with their fusion of hip hop and rock”, said Steve Curtin, co-creator of Rap Wars. “It’s fitting that they would be involved in innovative ways to use new technologies like mobile apps to connect with their fans.” Entering the 2101 Records contest is easy: 1) Download Rap Wars from iTunes or Google Play; 2) Register with rapper name, email address and rapper photo; 3) Go to Prophet under Featured Raps and Battle. Once a user challenges Prophet to a battle, they will be able to select a rap beat from Rap Wars’ extensive beat library and record their freestyle rap. After naming and submitting the rap they are officially entered. Entries are now open and will be taken through January 13, 2013 until 11:59pm PST. Entries will be judged on a point system based on a combination of rating and play count. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the contest rules, the 1 entry with the highest score will be deemed the potential Grand Prize winner. The 4 entries with the next highest scores will be deemed potential First Prize winners.
