Global LGBT rights activist Omar Kuddus takes AllOut to Task

Kuddus:  A Rebuke and a Retort for AllOut:  "Answer Melanie Nathan's Allegations"

"I am not one to hold my tongue or not voice my opinion on something that upsets me or that needs commenting upon.

But for once I just had to do so as I did not have the words to express myself, to express my anger and disgust for the comments that the bigot, American Family Association spokesman, Bryan Fischer made and turned a tragedy into a platform to push his Christian values.

I did not for one second think that I would be in the same position later on in the same day, having tried to keep away from work and the world.

But I refuse to be silent anymore and it is high time that a few home truths were spoken, injustices highlighted and people and organizations made accountable.

I expect the bigoted Bible belt to join the brigade and blame all natural and man made tragedies to be the fault of homosexuality or to exploit the situation to get their five minutes of fame to get notoriety. But not those, who are meant to be on our side , LGBT organizations that are meant to be helping make the world a better place for us. People that in the past I have given my support, alliance and name to achieve a common goal of equality and justice.

I am an activist, an advocate who works pro bona from dawn to most dawns without rest, funding my own GayAsylumUK that helps countless asylum seekers through my own Trust fund, My own monies that I have worked for refusing to accept donations or offers of help financially, because I and our team work with dedication and out of compassion and a desire to make the world a better place for our fellow LGBTs and mankind. To achieve equality for equalities sake. Not for recognition, glory, fame spotlight and am more than content to silently fade into the background and like so many, many time before let other bask in the limelight and take all the credit for my hard work and achievements. For all I want is to achieve the goal that I set out to obtain.

But on this occasion I can not. I will not. I shall not sit silently in the background whilst others steal the thunder.

They are more than welcome to the credit and to claim the victories that they had no part in obtaining or any direct influence or did anything constructive towards obtaining the goal.

But when the victory is claimed at a price they are then no better than the Fishers, Phelps, Lively, Perkins, Harvey’s of the world for they are the Judas in our midst.

A False Claim about the Uganda Bill?

I naturally am referring to the recent email that most of us have received from AllOut claim responsibility for getting the Ugandan "Kill the Gays" bill “stalled”.

Just how did they achieve this miraculous feat all by themselves I would love to know as their petition, as I pointed out in the very fist instance, is flawed and even if the Ugandan President Museveni wanted to veto the Bill, he could not as he does not have the power by law, so in essence the petition was not worth the cyber bites it occupied.

But that is not the issue for me - let AllOut claim sole responsibility, for it wont be the first time that they, along with other NGOS, Organizations and Activist have claimed false trophies, it is the fact now they are using Uganda’s tragedy and situation for a fund raising campaign.

I am sick and tired of these so called LGBT Activists and Organizations that milk the system and not only tap all governmental resources and all funding available but also the LGBT community, to fund their champagne lifestyles and high salaries.

There are asylum organizations in the UK that claim to have safe houses for LGBTs of which I still am to find any evidence. What I do see is expensive flats in Notting Hill with large chandeliers and free flowing champagne.

AllOut revenue for 2012 was in excess of $0, 5 Million USD. How much did they actually spend on LGBTs and helping Ugandans and the other countries they mention?
Sorry this advocate does it for the better of his fellow LGBTs and if I can so can you AllOut and not use tragedies as an excuse to drum up more funding. For it makes you no better than the Brian Fishers of this world.
