By: vddealbox Standard 360 controllers are, in my opinion, the most comfortable gamepads in the market, past or present. I've been using this particular pad primarily to play games which either are unwieldy to play without a pad (emulators, action games, etc.) or do not have proper mouse support (e.g. the original Dead Space). What I wouldn't recommend this (or any gamepad) for are first-person shooters; they're far too limited and imprecise for that. Essentially, what gamepads do well is movement, which often benefits from analog input. Keep in mind that using a wireless 360 pad with a receiver for your PC comes with various response and recognition issues; if you're buying a 360 controller for your PC, a wired controller does the job without the hassle. In the past, PC gamers use to collect peripherals for all kinds of games (flight sticks and steering wheels for simulators, for example). For some reason, there has recently been an increase in the population of gamers who dislike peripherals. However, in my opinion, a 360 controller should be standard equipment for any PC gamer. I can't recommend it enough. Got this in the mail fairly quick and so far I'm loving it! All you have to do is plug it into your Xbox and it works! I bought this mostly because I'm sick of having to switch batteries or my controller dies while I'm playing a game and get killed by the enemy :( I also use this for PC gaming and for playing emulators on my PC. Love this controller! Wired is a lot better than wireless. Sticking with wired from now on! :D I have owned many different types of xbox 360 controller (http://www.vdealbox.com/ End
