Cure.” Gia, 22, is best known for her work in 13 Going on 30, and In the Land of Women. Mantegna made her acting debut at age 13 in the 2003 film Uncle Nino, alongside Anne Archer, Trevor Morgan and her father, Joe Mantegna. In 2006, Gia appeared in Warner Brothers' winter feature, Unaccompanied Minors. She also had a lead role in the television pilot Murder Book for Fox and starred in The Neihgbor alongside Matthew Modine, Michele Laroque and Ed Quinn. On December 9, 2012 Gia was announced as the 2011 Miss Golden Globe for the 68th Annual Golden Globe Award Ceremony. The benefit is being sponsored by The Penn State Alumni Association Los Angeles Chapter (PSULA) in support of THON, the 46-hour dance marathon held by the students at Penn State University each February for the past 40 years.
