Ware Malcomb Hires Two New Leaders for Technology & Civil Engineering

Nov. 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Irvine, California – International design firm, Ware Malcomb is proud to announce the firm's hiring of Mr. David Greunke, AIA as Director, Technology  and Mr. Ken Jewell, P.E. as Studio Manager, Civil Engineering in the firm's Irvine Corporate Office.  

David Greunke, AIA is Director, Technology
David is a key member of Ware Malcomb leadership team and directs our specialized Technology Studio.  As a Registered Architect, he brings over 25 years of industry experience including staff management, project management, laboratory planning, project cost control and budgeting, strategic facilities planning and operations, site master planning, construction management and space management to the firm.  David has worked both on the corporate side for notable companies such as Pfizer, Lockheed and Baxter Healthcare, as well as on the professional services side.   He will lead the growth and expansion of the Technology Practice, which will encompass a variety of science and technology projects.

David has a Master of Architecture degree, Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies, all from the University of Illinois, Champaign. He is a member of the AIA (American Institute of Architects), and ISPE (International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering.)

Ken Jewell, P.E. is Studio Manager, Civil Engineering
As Studio Manager, Civil Engineering, Ken is responsible for overseeing and expanding Ware Malcomb's Civil Engineering Studio in the Southern California market.   With 12 years of civil engineering design and consulting services experience, Ken brings proven leadership, communication and project management expertise to the team.    

Ken has a Master of Science degree in   Civil Engineering-Water Resources from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Norwich University, Vermont.  He is a Lieutenant Commander for the United States Navy Reserve, as well as a registered Professional Engineer in the States of California and Arizona and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC.)
