Work Experience at Bennington Green
DORSET based Bennington Green were delighted to welcome a student for work experience last week.
Nigel Soloman, Managing Director of Bennington Green and Governor at Parkstone Grammar School said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Ollie to the team – albeit very briefly.
It's always a pleasure to welcome the future generation into the company and with the experienced but fun staff we have at Bennington Green, it’s a good place to learn the ropes.
Ollie, who is 17 is currently studying towards his A levels in Biology, Geography and ICT.
Nigel added: “I hope that we at Bennington Green have managed to enlighten him a little and give him some idea of what it’s like to work in a vibrant property consultancy – and I hope we haven’t put him off!”
Bennington Green can offer an extensive range of services from their Dorset and London offices and are happy to show students who are considering going down the Surveying or Civil Engineering route what it’s like. Bennington Green was established in 1992 by Damon Green.
In August 2005, the company was acquired by Nigel Soloman, a Chartered Engineer, and Keith Kirkwood, a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Bennington Green Ltd was created.
Earlier this year they acquired Richard Neale Associates and both Damon Green - one of the leading Chartered Building Surveyors in the area - and Richard Neale continue to provide consultancy services to the business.
In addition to their Dorset operation, they now also have offices in London and the Bahamas.
Bennington Green has a dynamic approach which has helped them through the recession. Despite the economic climate, they continue to grow with new services continually being developed to reflect the changes in the marketplace.
A focused programme of expansion and growth has been implemented with a vision of building a multi-disciplined professional practice offering not only the full range of building surveying services as identified by RICS but also a broad range of project management, building surveying and design, commercial management, dispute resolution, contractual and legal advice, dilapidations, party wall and interim management services to a wide and varied range of clients in both the public and private sectors, in the UK and overseas.
