Online Community Gives Ashworth College Graphic Design Course Students Career Success Strategies
James Madison High School will exhibit at the 2012 Georgia School Counselors Conference. The conference is hosted by the Georgia School Counselors Association (GSCA) and will be held November 7-9 in Athens, GA.
Ashworth created the Graphic Design Group within its online community so that students pursuing its graphic design training course would have a place to learn from, and network with, each other and members of the professional design community.
Ashworth’s accredited graphic design training is among its most popular online programs and the Graphic Design Group currently serves nearly 600 members (November 2012). The group is part of the 125,000 plus members the online Ashworth Community.
“Like the fashion industry, graphic design has its trends,” said Ryan Rode, Ashworth College’s Social Media Manager. “As the industry has become more technologically savvy, graphic designers need to have the right training and the motivation to be competitive and to keep up with these trends.”
Rode referenced Ashworth College’s online graphic design training program as an ideal way to develop skills for a solid career foundation.

Rode added, “It’s a great time to be pursuing graphic design training. The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that employment of graphic designers is expected to grow 13% through 2020, especially for those with related digital and computer skills.”
