The Association for Challenge Course Technology Introduces the ACCT Standards, 8th Edition

Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- DEERFIELD, Illinois (October 23, 2012) - The Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) is pleased to announce that after partnering with designers, manufacturers, inspectors, regulators, end users and other materially affected parties, the new ACCT Standards for Challenge Courses and Canopy/Zip Line Tours (8th Edition) is complete.  

On October 10, 2012, just after 5:30pm (CST), the ACCT Board of Directors voted to approve the new ACCT Standards and have authorized the ACCT to proceed with publication.   Thousands of hours and hundreds of combined years of expertise have gone into the development of the new standards.  

The new ACCT Standard, 8th Edition, provides a great resource, not only to designers, installers, manufacturers and inspectors, but also to national and international agencies looking to minimize the exposure to risk for their citizens.
