Small Business with Large Ambitions!

Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Some call me an entrepreneur; I like to call myself an achiever. I have a vision, I set a goal and I work continuously until the goal is reached. It helps that I am a very busy minded person. I can’t quiet my thoughts, I have an ever growing ‘to-do’ list in my head and sitting still is simply never an option.  With that being said, I created E-BO; which keeps me very busy in addition to being a wife, mother and full time employee.

There are two separate entities to E-BO. The primary entity is breeding both Mealworms and Mice. I sell both live and frozen mice (except for pinkies, they are live only) and only alive mealworms but I am working towards selling baked/dehydrated mealworms in the near future.

I have a 10+ year old Albino Corn Snake, Zacchaeus, and a 6+ year old Bearded Dragon, Nacho; I want just as healthy of feeders for my pets as yours. I feed my pets out of the same stock that I sell from, so rest assured they are healthy, plump and given the utmost care and attention to keep them in the healthiest environments possible.

The second entity of E-BO is the Claytastic side! I create a multitude of Polymer Creations; Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Patriotic themes. I also have a habit of creating what new ideas pop into my head! In addition, what I am most known for is making personalized cake Topper's for weddings, birthdays, etc. Take a look at my "Claytastic" tab  on our website, http://www.elenasbugginout.com/claytastic.htm, for a preview of some of my creations.

♦ How the bug side began: I started w/500 mealworms from a local bird feed store and those 500 turned into about 300 pupa and about 150 beetles. In that time (since I had lost so many) I ordered another 1000 mealworms from a reputable breeder. Those 1000 were much healthier and the beetles they turned into are my current beetles that are still laying eggs 5+ months later. I went from 4 drawers of worms to 12!!! I have more worms than I know what to do with!!!

I have also gotten quite successful at breeding mice. I sell both frozen and live. I have pinkies, fuzzies, hoppers and adults. Though it sounds simple to breed mice, I have to do so in a way that keeps my population controllable and as healthy as possible. Feeding a bunch of growing baby mice is astounding; they have an insatiable appetite!!

♦ How Claytastic began: Years ago I found that I was pretty good at molding polymer clay into pretty much anything I had my mind set on. Not sure what started it really, or when exactly, but I know it was well over 10 years ago.

After my divorce in 2002, I didn't really have time for a long while to dive into my passion. About 4 years later I got back into it - but sadly after a move into an apartment all of the things I had made got destroyed.  I didn't get back into it again for another 5 1/2 years, which was when I created the Stacy & Lisa figures.

I wanted to create a site specifically for my creations - but thought, 'why have two sites, pay two yearly fees and have different logo's?" So, the logo's bottom portion is meant for the artistic side of E-BO.

♦ About my creations:
 ● They are made out of hand molded Polymer Clay
 ● They are put in the oven to bake for a few hours to harden
 ● I use NO purchased molds for anything aside from my 'block letters'
    however, I have MADE my own molds - to use for special creations
 ● My roses are each individually made - no mold, not even homemade
 ● I spray them w/a clear glaze to give them the 'shiny' look
 ●I do use cutters (tear drop, stars, hearts and snowflakes) but most everything is hand cut
