Symphony Crack Orchestra Announces Fan Funded Album Release Spring Tour
The Symphony Crack Orchestra, 7-Time Grammy Nominated group with eclectic musical launched an IndieGoGo effort to raise $50,000 to fund their first “The Fiend Tour” in Southeast US. Funding goes to support travel, lodging, and equipment costs
Oct. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Atlanta, GA -- The Symphony Crack Orchestra is debuting their sophomore album Fiend on the first-ever fan-funded tour this coming spring in a crowd-funding initiative through IndieGoGo. Symphony Crack has taken to their fans and supporters to be an integral part of the process and learn firsthand what it takes to produce a music album release tour of this caliber. With a goal to raise at least $50,000, contributions will be put toward the production and travel support of the show in venues in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama and Tennessee, Louisiana, Virginia, Mississippi, Kentucky and West Virginia
“Often times, I have fans asking me how they can break into the music business or how they can learn more about production from behind the scenes. I think this campaign is a great way to provide my fans a behind-the-scenes experience on how a tour is planned, developed, and performed,” said the group’s leader, Ashanti Floyd aka The Mad Violinist.
The Mad Violinist & Symphony Crack Orchestra recently announced the release of their sophomore music album, 'Fiend,' and within 24 hours, 'Fiend' climbed from Top 200 to Top 10 on iTunes. By using crowd funding to help support and promote these talented artists, it enables them to push the boundaries of music once again to inspire others to innovate alongside them. If the campaign is successful, it will allow Symphony Crack to pursue more tours across the nation, and eventually the globe.
