James Bond: License to Swill Cocktail Class

James Bond. The man likes to drink. Ian Fleming’s novels see him down 317 alcoholic beverages in 12 books. That means agent 007 was going for a top up (on average) once every seven pages.

Bond fans the world over have found themselves trying to keep up with him ever since - ordering vodka martinis as pre-film drinks to get in the mood each time a new Bond feature is released. This year Barz8 Events is offering them the chance to learn to load their own.

The License to Swill Cocktail Class will teach participants the skills and stories behind Bond’s cocktails of choice; including the Vesper Martini, Americano, Mint Julep and The Stinger.

Classes will be held at the Radisson Blu Edwardian, 13 Bloomsbury St, WC1B 3QD, on the release date of Skyfall, October 26 at 5.45pm and 8pm. Further dates will be announced subject to demand and private/corporate classes run by request. Classes are £65 per head, with discounts available for bookings of 20 people or more.
