Portable Air Conditioning Units Are Here To Stay

There are of course many advantages to owning portable air conditioning units, the first and probable the most important one is it is free standing, thus no need to install or mount it anywhere in a fixed position, thus saving on installation costs.

How does this achieve cheaper running costs I hear you ask, since the water is being pumped over the hot condenser, the water will of course evaporate, any cold liquid poured over a hot surface evaporates hence ‘self-evaporative technology’.  It has been found that these units recycle approximately 75% of the water which is generated when the unit is cooling.
