Oct. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Plano criminal defense lawyer Jason Zendeh Del, a founding member of The Zendeh Del Law Firm, PLLC, was recently sworn in to the United States District Court’s Western and Southern Districts of Texas on Friday, October 5th. The honor broadens the attorney’s ability serve individuals who are dealing with criminal cases at the federal level in Texas since he is now admitted to practice law in all four of the state’s U.S. District Court districts.

U.S. district courts are the federal court system’s trial courts. Civil and criminal cases are heard in these courts when the charges involved are at the federal level. There are a total of 94 federal judicial districts within the system. Attorneys who are admitted to practice law within these districts have shown that they have met certain rules and standards of the actual districts themselves. These requirements often serve as proof of the lawyer’s good standing within certain state and federal courts and within his or her profession.

The U.S. Court—Western District of Texas is made up of seven divisions. They include the Austin, Del Rio, El Paso, Midland-Odessa, Pecos, San Antonio and Waco divisions. The U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts—Southern District of Texas also has seven divisions, which are the Brownsville, Houston, Victoria, Corpus Christi, Laredo, Galveston and McAllen divisions. The other two districts in Texas, which Zendeh Del was already admitted to, include the Northern and Eastern districts.

According to data from the U.S. District Courts’ website, the Western District of Texas had 8,406 criminal cases filed—including transfers—during the fiscal year of 2010. During the same period, the Southern District of Texas had 8,156 criminal cases filed.

Zendeh Del’s accomplishment of being admitted to these court districts expands his capabilities for serving his clients. The criminal defense attorney has defended individuals in both federal and state courts throughout Texas. He is able to handle many different types of federal cases, such as those involving certain drug crimes, tax offenses, immigration crimes, white collar crimes and more.

As a former prosecutor, Zendeh Del is able to draw from firsthand experience that not every criminal defense attorney possesses. The attorney was formerly an Assistant District Attorney with Fort Bend County. He also worked as a prosecutor for the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. Not only did the experience allow him to handle thousands of criminal cases, but he was also able to obtain an insider understanding of how the prosecution works. This understanding is a tool he uses for the benefits of his clients now that he is a criminal defense attorney.

Zendeh Del is not afraid to handle challenging cases. Contact The Zendeh Del Law Firm to learn about how he might be able to help you minimize your chances of a criminal conviction. For more information about the attorney and his firm, you can visit http://www.Zen-Law.com.
