Attorney Jason Zendeh Del Joins Two U.S. District Court Districts in Texas

The honor broadens the attorney’s ability serve individuals who are dealing with criminal cases at the federal level in Texas since he is now admitted to practice law in all four of the state’s U.S. District Court districts.

U.S. district courts are the federal court system’s trial courts. Civil and criminal cases are heard in these courts when the charges involved are at the federal level. There are a total of 94 federal judicial districts within the system. The other two districts in Texas, which Zendeh Del was already admitted to, include the Northern and Eastern districts.

According to data from the U.S. District Courts’ website, the Western District of Texas had 8,406 criminal cases filed—including transfers—during the fiscal year of 2010. During the same period, the Southern District of Texas had 8,156 criminal cases filed.
