Last week one of Serviceteam’s decorators Tom Smith happened to be working on the right job at the right time according to Bobby Scofield. While Tom was painting the front of Bobby’s house he thought he could hear a distressed meowing coming from the roof and climbed higher to check it out. Upon climbing on the roof he found a cat unable to get down, so he scooped it up and took it back to the front garden. Bobby quickly realised that it was in fact her cat Archie that had been missing for the last few days. Bobby was delighted to be re-united together with her lost cat and gave Tom the decorator a glowing review!

Tom Smith Said: “It is not every day in my line of work that you get the chance to be the hero. Owning a cat myself I just could not ignore the poor thing and since I was half way up the ladder anyway I thought I would check it out. Bobby was such a sweet old lady, I am just glad I could help her and Archie out.”
