Infosys set to acquire Lodestone – Ganesha foresees long-term benefit only post December 2012

Oct. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Infosys Technologies is one of India's largest IT companies with over 151,151 professionals, approximately nine development centres in India and over 30 offices worldwide. Founded on July 2nd, 1981 in Pune by N. R. Narayana Murthy, Infosys had six other founding members including the very famous Nandan Nilekani. The Indian IT giant and pioneer has been going strong since then, having diversified and branched extensively. Now, the company is planning to acquire a Zurich-based global management consultancy firm named Lodestone Holding AG. The deal has been pegged at 330 million CHF (USD 350 million). This transaction is likely to fructify by the end of October 2012. Lodestone presently advises some key international companies on strategy and process optimization, and provides business transformation solutions enabled by SAP. Post acquisition, Infosys shall get an additional 850 employees. Besides, Lodestone is expected to add 200 clients across manufacturing, automotive and life sciences to Infosys' existing client-base of over 700. The Indian IT conglomerate also hopes to add a considerable amount of revenue to its flourishing consulting practice, specifically its SAP program, post this acquisition. Ganesha reads into the organisation's Solar chart to foresee what lies ahead for Infosys with respect to this deal.


Astrological Analysis:

Ganesha analyses the Sun Chart (Surya Kundali) created taking into account the foundation date of Infosys. It is noted that Gemini is the rising Ascendant. And there is a conjunction of Sun, Moon and Mercury (that is posited in its own House) in the chart's First House. The company's superior and potent foundation and acceptance into the market, besides other practical reasons, may be attributed to the strong deposition of the Ascendant Lord. Jupiter, considered as the Lord of Profession, is posited in the Fourth House in conjunction with Bhagyesh (the Lord of Ninth House). The company was under the Mahadasha period of Jupiter-Jupiter because of which the company had to move its headquarters to Bangalore in the year 1983.


What Next?

In view of Infosys' Surya Kundali, created keeping in view the company's inception date, Ganesha observes that the Mahadasha period of Saturn-Rahu-Venus would be ongoing during the time period 13th October 2012  to 3rd April 2013. Now, it is noteworthy that Venus is the Lord of the House of foreign collaborations and the stock markets. In Infosys' Kundali, Venus is posited in the Second House, that is the House of Finance. Thus, this Mahadasha may be the chief planetary configuration responsible for this acquisition.

Also note that currently the transiting Jupiter and Ketu and the Natal Mars are in the 12th House, while Rahu is transiting through the 6th House. This configuration indicates that if at all Infosys tries to fructify this particular deal before or till 23rd December 2012, there may be delays and snags. Besides, in such planetary circumstances, this deal may also land the organisation in some legal baffles owing to the employees, specifically if this happens before the said time frame.

However, if the deal is consolidated post the aforementioned date, and in the time period 24th December 2012 to 31st May 2013, the company may end up making a lot more expenses in the complete acquisition process than originally expected. Still, the good news is that in such circumstances, this deal shall turn out to be very fruitful for Infosys in the long-term.

From June 2013 onwards, the mighty Jupiter shall be transiting through Infosys' Natal Sun-Mercury-Moon conjunction. Once that happens, Infosys may expect a beginning of a golden period for their business and expansion.
