A breif instruction of the BIRTV2012

Sept. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- On August 22, 2012, the twenty-first Beijing International Radio, Film and Television Equipment Exhibition (BIRTV2012) was ceremoniously held in China International Exhibition Center, which located in Beijing.
In a grant gathering of displaying the latest radio and television technologies and equipments, the camera was still the focus of the majority of big manufacturers.
Many domestic and foreign manufacturers displayed their latest products in succession to promote the development process of the camera.
What information can we sense from the products that manufacturers have showed this year? What situation that future camera market is going to be moving in?
Canon digital SLR camera EOS-1D C is an upgraded product of Canon 1D X, mainly for the film and video making and supporting, which supports 4K resolution image recording. This event of Canon has leaded the SLR technology to the peak and pioneered the era of the SLR 4K photography, has expanded digital 4K cameras flexibility and offered photographers a brand-new film production pathway.
The upcoming EOS C500/EOS C500 PL 4K digital camera was also on display in the booth. With approximately 8.29 million effective pixels and equivalent to Super 35mm equivalent specifications, EOS C500/C500 PL is equipped with a large CMOS image sensor, which could take full advantage of over 60 EF lenses, including fisheye, tilt-shift.
The core of F65 is Sony's newly developed 8K CMOS imaging device, with the integration of the approximately 20 million pixels. Its density is two times of traditional 4K Bayer graphics imaging device, which greatly improving the resolution and maintaining a greater tolerance at the same time, and it is conducive to late effects processing. F65 outputs 16-bit raw data (RAW Data) to provide HD, 2K, and true 4K original resolution, to build a complete end-to-end 4K mastering workflow.
The EOS 300/EOS C300 PL is a camcorder model that can support 2K, applying the latest CMOS image sensor, using Super 35mm 3 Imperforated movie film standard as its model. With actual image size of 24.4mm × 13.5mm, it uses pixels of 3840 (horizontal) * 2160 (vertical) to achieve key photoelectric conversion of the digital video. Each image point has an area of approximately 6.4 x 6.4 microns, and each imaging point has a micro-lens to ensure high efficiency of light transmission to each photodiode. Imaging points use Canon’s unique technology to increase the photon capacity of the photodiode and simultaneously reduce image sensor noise, and the combination of them obtains remarkable dynamic range.
