Pastors Mac and Lynne Hammond
-- Living Word Christian Center is excited to launch two new churches this fall: a Spanish-speaking church and a Russian-speaking church. These are two of the larger growing people groups at Living Word. The new services are a great way for them to experience Living Word’s community in an environment tailored specifically for them.
Living Word Español Church will meet weekly on Saturday nights starting Saturday, October 6 at 5 p.m. in the chapel. Living Word Russian Church will meet weekly on Sunday mornings starting Sunday, October 7 at 11 a.m. Children and youth will be encouraged to attend the existing services provided by our Family Support Ministry.
One Spanish-speaking member of Living Word stated, “To enjoy the Word of God in our own language is a privilege.”
Pastor Mac Hammond will minister in the pulpit at these churches occasionally;
most of the ministry will be done by Pastor Mac’s wife, Lynne, and their son and daughter-in-
law, Jim and Kristin Hammond. The praise and worship will be in their respective languages, and each message will be translated using a translator.
Pastors Mac and Lynne and Pastors Jim and Kristin are excited to present this opportunity to the Spanish and Russian people to be able to come to church and hear the truth of God’s Word in their native language.
