Despite The Reverence releases new self-titled CD to rave reviews!

Sept. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Despite The Reverence formed in October 2010, which includes Johnny Fast, Tom Liska, Jordan Poelzer and Brad Zimmer as band mates.  Their first performance was in Saskatoon on April 9, 2011.  After the release of their self-titled CD on April 7, 2012 and the subsequent televised version on May 2012, producers of the motion picture Ferocious, starring Kim Coates and Dustin Milligan approached them.  The producers chose 5 songs as part of the soundtrack to this movie.  

It seems that Despite The Reverence is surely reaping the benefits of their hard work.  Their dedication and their creative styles have brought early success to this group and it continues with the release of their self-titled CD in April 2012.  

The lead single off of this CD “Original Sin” capture the essence of the entire album bringing some of the best rock/metal music to the forefront of the music industry.  Despite The Reverence used to be a cover band but has since emancipated themselves and began working on writing original material for their own personal successes.  This song signifies this newfound freedom, pursuing the creative side of writing original music with determination and dedication to their craft to achieve their ultimate goal.  

“Original Sin” is a fast paced, high octane and aggressive song that carries a hard rock/metal energy that seems to electrify the environment around them.   Their music is meant to be played at its loudest, with in-your-face tracks such as “The Hunger” and “We Are Shadow”.  Then there are songs such as “Sense of Balance” that perhaps sums it up best as it incorporates the intensity of a rich orchestration and melodic guitar creation.   It grabs the attention of audiences and maintains it throughout, giving mind and body a healthy workout.

Despite The Reverence is a group to contend with as they reach for a plateau that few rarely are able to achieve.
