Illinois PBS Viewers Enjoy New Fitness Series with Suzanne Andrews
Baby boomers won’t want to miss the premiere of “Functional Fitness with Suzanne Andrews,” a national doctor recommended health series airing Sundays at 6:30 AM on WSEC TV.
Suzanne Andrews, an Occupational Therapy Practitioner utilized many of the techniques that helped her lose 60 pounds and also rehabilitate herself after a car accident that left her with serious medical complications. That experience lead her to get a degree in rehab therapy where she transmits that knowledge to the television audience by focusing on practical workouts for people over 40 who are looking to improve their health. By training muscles with an exercise program that's designed to make activities of daily life easier to do, Springfield PBS viewers can improve flexibility, strength, balance, cardio and stamina in the comfort and safety of their own home.
