![]() Former Harlem Globetrotter, TyRone “Hollywood” Brown, Writes Children’s BookA Piece of Paper is Tyrone “Hollywood” Brown’s first children book aimed at providing children a positive and encouraging story to achieve success.
Larry Gator Rivers, also a former Harlem Globetrotter, praised the book as an “entertaining and educational book for children of all ages.” Meadowlark Lemon said this story “will teach, inspire and motivate children to set goals and a plan for success.” Today, Mr. Brown travels to 150 schools across the nation sharing his personal story and giving children a plan for setting goals and achieving them. He wrote this book to reach out to the 100,000+ plus schools he cannot visit each year. He said, “Between elementary and middle schools there are over 100,000 schools across the country. I cannot get to each of the schools to share my story; so, writing this book allows me to cover more ground and reach more children.” A Piece of Paper will be launched by Raleigh, NC-based Peak City Publishing at the Savannah Children’s Book Festival in Forsythe Park on November 10, 2012. The author will be speaking and signing books in the International Tent.
