Hamilton hopes to use the scholarship to broaden her skills as an IT professional
Hamilton works at New York Presbyterian Hospital in IT, offering technical support and network administration in Windows Server. She has enjoyed her career in the IT industry for more than 7 years but hopes to improve and upgrade those skills to keep pace with the changing technological trends in the IT industry. Hamilton hopes to master and get certified in VMware vSphere, Windows Server 2012 and Microsoft SCCM.
"The Sarder Scholarship will help me be a better-skilled IT person, who is equipped to meet the demands of businesses. I will be better equipped, more knowledgeable and have the necessary skills to function as an IT Systems Administrator, as well as develop sharper technical support and analytical skills to solve problems," Hamilton said.
