Inventor, Lee DeMar went right to the source to find out what was needed to solve the problems.  Mr. DeMar interviewed hundreds and hundreds of RN's and LPN's to get the nurses opinions.  He felt that they were in the front line of seeing how people manage and very often mis-manage their medication.  The number one problem, FORGETTING was simple but deadly.  He felt a Pill reminder was desperatly needed for the health of an aging population.

Med-Q has addressed the forgetting problem head on.  The MED-Q has programmable alarms that reminds the user when to take their medication in two effective ways.  The first, an alarm that is unique to the pill  box marke placet.  A bright Flashing LED light illuminates the indivual compartment of pills to be taken,   The second alert is an escalating beeping alarm that grows in volume until the pills are taken.  Set it once and the alarms will repeat each day automatically.  Dual alarms make forgetting virtually impossible.
