Adding industry articles and other new features to Computing Now's deep bench of news, multimedia, and peer-reviewed research will greatly increase the site's appeal as the online destination for computing technology leaders. "When we launched Computing Now in 2008, our goal was to provide readers and subscribers with online access to the IEEE Computer Society's high-quality print periodicals," To help site visitors track new developments in targeted technologies, the content will be organized into channels on: * Cloud computing * High-performance computing * Mobile computing * Networking * Professional development * Security, and * Software development. Solutions-oriented articles and case studies by industry leaders from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, NASA Ames Research Center, Siemens, Vitesse Semiconductor, and other companies will help visitors find real-world solutions and applications for current technology. The audience will range from C-level executives to software developers, networking and security experts, and other computing professionals. Industry-leading bloggers will keep their fingers on the pulse with frequent dispatches from their corners of the quickly changing technology world.
