Aug. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- (Nashville, Tenn. - Aug. 27, 2012)  Last month, Country Music Radio Hall of Fame member Bob Moody opened the Real Local Radio Group, a full service consulting company.  His Country playlist, long a favorite among industry insiders for its music reviews and commentary, is now available free every week at www.RealLocalRadio.com.  Simply click on the Playlist tab, with no log-in or password required.  You can also sign up for email reminders each week when the new playlist is posted.

The Real Local Radio Group specializes in helping medium and small market stations develop unique local content.  That includes music chosen specifically for each individual market as well as on-air content that cannot be duplicated on national programming platforms.

Clients of the Real Local Radio Group get a complete package of consulting services in addition to the playlist, including recurrent and gold lists, a confidential weekly music memo, market-specific recommendations, music calls and other benefits listed on the website’s Services tab.

Moody is one of the most respected radio programmers in the country, having worked at several of North America’s legendary stations including: CKLW/Windsor-Detroit; WAKY/Louisville, where he launched one of the country's first all-Oldies formats and received a Billboard Station of the Year award; and WPOC/Baltimore, which won two CMA Station of the Year awards.  Moody was also a Director/Group Programming Services for Nationwide Communications, Inc., working with their stations in Cleveland, Sacramento, Winston-Salem and Columbus.  He was named Vice-President/Country for McVay Media in 1997, where he consulted dozens of stations in the U.S. and Canada, before becoming Vice President of Programming for Regent Communications in 2002.  Bob held the same title after that group became Townsquare Media, leaving in late 2011.

He has served on the board of directors of the Country Music Association, Academy of Country Music and the Country Radio Broadcasters.  Moody was inducted into the Country Music Radio Hall of Fame in 2007 and has been recognized as one of Country radio's most influential programmers by Country Aircheck magazine.
