Blizzard Announces Mists of Pandaria Release

Aug. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- The long awaited World of Warcraft expansion Mists of Pandaria will be released on 25 September 2012.  Blizzard's expansion is blatantly targeted at the Chinese and female market.  The setting has a strong Chinese identity with Pandaria clearly being modelled on traditional, unmistakably, Chinese buildings.  Pagodas are much in evidence, as are the Kung Fu fighting skills of the new Monk class.  "Ah grasshopper" I hear you say!

The Pandaren, the new Azeroth race, are, believe it or not, Pandas.  You can just hear female gamers going "ah" can't you?!  And oh, how cute.  The kung fu should pacify the guys though ;-).  

In addition to the introduction of the Pandaren there will be a number of changes to the game play.  The most significant for game play are the changes to the talents, with only one tree, and the removal of prime glyphs. It will take a while for experienced players to get to grip with all of the changes.
