Hosted Accountants moved a wide range of key applications and mission critical systems into the cloud as part of their popular managed hosting model. David Howard Accountants has two offices in the UK and services over 1,000 clients across a range of industries, from individuals and sole traders through to multi million pound turnover international companies. With four partners managing a team of 27 staff, this new IT strategy allows partners much more time to work on the practice goals rather than day to day software issues.

Hosted Accountants cuts IT costs for users by providing secure virtual servers, software advice and hosted desktop solutions. Their service includes the management of updates for practice software, backed up with full support from a dedicated team of professionals who deal with accountants and their suppliers on a day to day basis. Programs supported in this roll out include Drive from Relate, CCH, STAR and Sage, amongst many others.

David Howard have always tried to take advantage of the best technology available to help streamline processes and minimise the cost for their clients. David Howard approached Hosted Accountants when the company identified a requirement for more flexible IT solutions and chose to work with them after recommendations. Following a successful pilot study prior to the deployment, Hosted Accountants went on to move over 35 applications into the cloud.
