Back for 2012 will be demo rides, courtesy of Kawasaki, STAR, Suzuki and Victory. In each instance, riders can check out the latest products free of charge. Before riding, everyone must have a motorcycle endorsement, a D.O.T approved helmet, gloves, eye protection, pants and closed-toed shoes. Also returning for Bike Fest is the legendary sport bike stunt team, the StarBoyz. Enjoy an extra special performance by the crew from Ohio as the StarBoyz Smoke Show makes its Bike Fest debut at Carlisle. Check out Scott, Kevin and their adrenaline-hooked friends as they burn rubber, rev their engines and wow the crowd with stoppies, wheelies, burnouts and more. In addition to the tricks, they are going to show off a little more than normal with a mini-drift course, fastest circle burnouts, best move, combination series burnout and more. The StarBoyz aren't the only stunt action at Carlisle as the Monster Energy FreestyleMX.com World Tour converges on the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds. Witness X-Games riders Matt Buyten, Kenny Bell and Garrett Ahlf in action all weekend long. These riders will pull off insane stunts, tricks and jumps and do so to the enjoyment of everyone on grounds. Also entertaining the crowd at the 92.1 WTPA Main Stage will be Baltimore based rock band the Charm City Devils and a handful of little guys as the Half Pint Brawlers midget wrestling outfit comes to town. The Manufacturers Midway will be a popular attraction as well, with vendors representing some of the top names in the hobby. Shop for seats, apparel, parts, accessories and more, often times with vendors offering show specials. You will find major brands represented as well as custom builders and suppliers for V-Twin and sport bikes. Shopping continues with the Appalachian Harley-Davidson Dealer Mall. The mall is for more than just Harley-Davidson gear and apparel. It also offers a huge selection of pre-owned motorcycles as part of the third annual Bike Fest consignment sale. Bike Fest is also a regular stop on the national circuit for many national and regional vendors providing the opportunity to get you or your bike fitted for parts, supplies and motorcycle-related products. Sunday will once again feature the popular Rat Rod Revival, complete with live music. These works of drivable art are an interpretative restoration of bikes or cars, using whatever tools and materials the builder can find. These unique rides will be on display all morning with awards at 2 p.m. Two motorcycles are slated to be given away and hopeful winners can register online now or onsite during the event. Another giveaway will afford attendees the chance to win a trip for two aboard the world’s ONLY rally on a cruise ship. The sold out cruise ship launches from Port Canaveral, Florida and cruises from October 28-November 4. Along the way, the boat will stop at ports in Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico and the Cayman Islands. When not on land, the cruise will allow thousands of likeminded enthusiasts the chance to be part of one a kind seminars, games and more. Carlisle Bike Fest, the mid-Atlantic’ End
