Finally, to the relief of the financial markets, they agreed on major budget cuts to realize the maximum budget deficit of 3 percent.

- 2.7 percent increase in sales volume residential properties than the same month last year.

- Dutch land registry indicates biggest improvements in Amsterdam region (+29 percent) and Rotterdam (+27 percent).

- Property transfer tax was lowered to 2 percent as temporary measure in June last year and the expectation was that this tax advantage would lapse in July of this year.

- Dutch Association of real estate agents (NVM) said it is too soon to celebrate: “There is no trend. The spring is always better than the winter months.”
