El cielo sobre la Plaza de Oriente
The Plaza de Oriente is located in the historical center of the capital.
It is dominated by two of the most significant buildings of the capital: the occidental influence is seen in the Royal Palace and, the eastern influence gleams in the Royal Theater. A marvelous enclave for the stroller to enjoy the most elegant architecture and landscape of Madrid.  The monumental plaza houses different historical-artistic gardens and a sculpture collection, specifically noteworthy is Phillip IV, the first equestrian statue in the world entirely supported by only the horse’s back legs.

The Retiro park, created between 1630 and 1640, gave the King Phillip IV a gift of lands that had been donated to the Duke by Fernan Nuñez near the Monastery of the Jerónimos of Madrid for the royal court to enjoy. Its green and refreshing dusks made this place a paradise in the center of the city.

The Royal Botanical Garden, situated in the Paseo del Prado, was  founded 250 years ago.  Its history and compromise are stronly bonded to the development and evolution  of the natural sciences, in particulary in Spain and world wide.  A place to discover,  breathe and treasure. Created by Loewe’s in-house perfumer, Emilio Valeros, the four fragrances pay homage to Loewe’s fine heritage and Spanish origins.
