Photographer publishes book of England’s ‘Portals, Panes & Places of Rest’

Amateur photographer Larry Bolt never envisioned himself publishing a book of his photos, but was inspired to do so after seeing the grandeur of England.

June 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Larry Bolt, of Colorado, is excited to announce the release of his first book of photographs:Portals, Panes & Places of Rest’.  This book is a collection of Mr. Bolt’s beautiful photographs that he took of scenic doorways, benches, churchyards and cathedrals in Great Britain including several from The Beatles hometown of Liverpool, England.

Larry's first jaunt to the U.K. was in 2007 as part of a tour of places made famous by The Beatles.  Not being a night owl, Larry awoke bzcrd early every morning and was able to capture photos of the solitude and beauty that surrounded him in jolly ol’ England.  Larry returned to England again in 2008 and 2009 and captured more stunning images of Britain to be published in his book.  It wasn't until after his return that he decided to share his images by publishing a book.

Mr. Bolt is currently working on a second book of photographs from his hometown in Colorado.

Larry Bolt is 58 years old and lives in Fort Collins, CO with his wife Marla and their three rescue cats.  Larry is the owner of NorthSide Music ( – an online music store specializing in Hofner basses and quality used guitars.
