Shocking Beauty Therapist Botox Training in the UK

June 16, 2012 - PRLog -- A new wave of controversy in circulating in the world of aesthetic medicine.  Beauty therapists are rushing to train in Botox administration and integrating Botox injections into their cosmetic practices.

The new player on the block is BotoxTrainingForBeautyTherapists.co.uk, which promotes training courses only for beauty therapists.  Their training format is in-depth 1-on-1 training, however is this still safe?

The new website is even promoting a petition for beauty therapists to sign in order to petition the government to fund regulation of beauty therapists Botox injection.  

According to the website, "We believe that beauty therapists are able to administer Botox and other injectable cosmetic treatments safely, providing they are suitably trained and educated.  Beauty therapists, more than most, know the in-depth the principles required for aesthetic treatments since this is part of our day to day training and work."
