-- UK domain registration and hosting provider, Siteopia.com today announced the acquisition of Gridstar Networking Ltd for an undisclosed cash sale.
The acquisition of Gridstar gives a boost to the customer base of emerging brand Siteopia within the domain registration and hosting market.
Gridstar Networking Ltd was formed in 1999 as a company that offers fast and reliable web hosting at competitive pricing. Both businesses offer highly complimentary services and share an almost identical company ethos of putting the customer at the forefront of operations.
Over 12 years, Gridstar built up a customer base spanning Europe, USA, Malaysia and Japan. Customers of Gridstar will now continue their services under management of the Siteopia brand.
Kevin Savage and Jason Smith, both Directors of Siteopia Ltd are by no means new to the domain and hosting market, having previously founded and led their former Internet company, Namesco Ltd to be the UKs fourth largest ISP.
The successful entrepreneurs aim to build new brand Siteopia into a leading Internet service company. http://www.siteopia.com
