Astra’s FastAP for IFS is ready for IFS Applications customers upgrading to Apps 8

June 12, 2012 - PRLog -- In May, Astra joined more than 175 representatives from approximately 60 IFS customers at the IFS user group meetings around the Country to discuss Apps 8 which is ready for general release in June.  Apps 8.0 includes 351 enhancements over Apps 7.5, which itself added more than 700 enhancements to its predecessor, Apps 7.0.  

At the meetings Astra spoke with many companies planning to upgrade to Apps 8 about FastAP for IFS^tm which is an organic extension of the IFS Financials’ AP Module.  

FastAP for IFS^tm is an end-to-end automation solution for processing supplier invoices.  Astra’s solution combines the advanced data capture of INVOICES by ReadSoft, a global leader in the AP space, with the automated receipt-to-invoice-to-PO matching and workflow approval routing functionalities of the IFS Supplier Invoice Workflow module (available for Apps 7.5 SP5 and higher).  FastAP also includes Astra’s APConnect^{for IFS} which seamlessly transfers the invoice data and electronic images to the IFS AP module.
