DiSTI Provides Free Replic8 Training Classes

June 5, 2012 - PRLog -- The DiSTI Corporation, a leading developer of interactive 3D software and customized training solutions, will host two free Replic8 training classes on June 13, 2012, one morning session at 8 a.m. and one afternoon session at 1 p.m. in the company’s new office in Orlando, FL. This class will benefit not only 3D Artists, but also Instructional Technologists, Multimedia Specialists, and Distance Learning Experts, who develop innovative training methods. Through face‐to‐face instruction, attendees will gain hands‐on experience with the guidance of a Replic8 expert for this groundbreaking new software tool.

These Replic8 training classes will teach attendees the key features of Replic8 to create stunning interactive 3D maintenance and task training applications. Curriculum consists of overviews for 3ds Max content creation and the Replic8 Equipment Previewer, as well as in‐depth use of the Replic8 Editor to create recordings, playback lessons and interactive lessons, and customized deployments.

As DiSTI’s latest software tool, Replic8 allows users to easily produce compelling 3D interactive training content in less time than it takes to author a video and without computer programming experience. Replic8 works directly with 3ds Max, forming a cohesive transition of static 3D models into interactive learning objects without losing essential fidelity and functionality.
