Choi Kwang Do Cartersville Announces Training in the Park 2012

June 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Choi Kwang Do Cartersville is proud to announce our 5th Annual Training in the Park Event, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11 am.

Choi Kwang Do Martial Art International’s aim is to improve the health, productivity, fitness and quality of life of its members. Choi Kwang Do is a martial art based on scientific truth, rather than mysticism. Choi Kwang Do aims to continually evolve as a martial art and exercise program with a continued commitment to incorporate science for the benefit of the practitioner, and mankind. Individuals, training in Choi Kwang Do, focus on achieving optimum health and wellness by training at a moderate level of intensity in classes, rather than training at a high intensity for a competition. Choi Kwang Do classes are taught in a friendly, family-orientated atmosphere, and in a fun and easy to learn manner. The development of character and mental strength based on CKD’s principles is considered the most important overall goal in CKD training along with the attainment of proper techniques. Choi Kwang Do is also renowned for its practicality as a self defense system and the techniques learned could save your life.

One of the biggest hits each year is training in the park and we are doing it again this year!  

T-Shirt & belt is dress code for training (shorts or dobok pants are ok).

We will also be having a water gun/balloon war.  

Swimming and fishing are available for those interested.  

Demo Team, lunch & kickball will also be on the events list this year.
