| Boot Camp to put Yorkshire’s fledgling entrepreneurs through their pacesYoung entrepreneurs across Yorkshire will gather next month to turn their fledgling business ideas into reality at Yorkshire’s annual Graduate Entrepreneurship Boot Camp.
Now in its sixth year, the Boot Camp is hosted and organised by the Graduate Entrepreneurship Project, an ERDF funded initiative which encourages and support students and graduates into business and self-employment. The project is a collaboration of ten higher education institutions from the Yorkshire and Humber region and is co-ordinated by the University of Huddersfield. Graduate Entrepreneurship Project Manager, Louise Bermingham said, “Boot Camp provides the region’s entrepreneurial students and graduates with an inspirational environment in which to explore and develop their business ideas. They leave camp armed with a wealth of knowledge to start them on their journey into business.” Sarah Allison, a graduate of the University of Leeds who attended last year’s boot camp and has since launched a social media training and consultancy said, “Last year’s graduate Entrepreneur’ This year’s Boot Camp runs from 2-5 July and is open to students and graduates of Yorkshire’s universities and higher education institutions.
