May 22, 2012, Redding, CA. Jones Valley Resort, part of houseboats.com marinas, announces the addition of new personal watercraft vessels to their fleet on Shasta Lake for the 2012 season.

Rich Howe, General Manager of Jones Valley Resort, confirmed the addition of six new 2012 Yamaha Waverunners. “These Yamaha 1100 Waverunners are the coolest way to cruise the lake.” said Howe. “Our customers love them and frequently rent two Waverunners along with one of our luxury houseboats.”

The Yamaha VX110 PWC’s seat 3 passengers and are powerful enough to pull a wakeboarder.

Jones Valley Resort operates a luxury houseboat rental marina that also provides small
boat rentals, vessel repair and private moorage.

Last year houseboats.com announced the production and release of an entirely new orientation and safety DVD for its rental customers. The goal was to provide guests with an effective tool to become familiar with the operating systems of their houseboat rental without being intimidated or worse – bored.

The new DVD demonstrates everything necessary to safely operate the 56 to 65 foot vessels in a fun yet informative way. It covers starting and driving the boat, using the features in the galley, operating the generator, entertainment system and hot tub - clearly, concisely and humorously.

The high quality DVD was professionally produced by a former houseboats.com employee turned videographer and features two of the most experienced, knowledgeable crew members on staff.
