Evolution Exposed & Intelligent Design Explained

May 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Honest thinkers are still making commendable efforts to expose evolution for what it is in an effort to help those who are willing to listen.

Engineering expert Walter L. Starkey, PhD. has added his voice to the many champions of science integrity seeking to dethrone evolution in the minds of the misinformed masses. And like many others sounding the alarm about the evolution myth, Starkey is a well-respected and award winning professional who is impressively credentialed.

Besides having achieved PhD. status in mechanical engineering and MSC, making straight “A” for both, establishing him as a recognized expert on the subject of design, he is the recipient of the “Machine Design Medal”, which is the Nobel Prize of engineering.
Elected to the office of Chairman of the Advisory Committee to the President and Board of Trustees by the 5000 member faculty of Ohio State in 1966, there is no questioning the respect he has from his peers. All this and more adds to the importance of his opinion concerning evolution and intelligent design.

In this book Starkey clearly commands an understanding of biology and chemical science, and carefully combines that knowledge with his skills and knowledge as a master engineer to demonstrate the illogic and in fact the impossibility of evolution. And he does so in a manner that young students can follow, which is his stated goal.

In a mere one hundred and one pages, Starkey successfully dismantles evolution in a manner that is quite embarrassing to evolutionists. Throughout the thirty brief chapters, he states his goal, defines his terms, explains evolution and then builds his case against it.
Drawing from his knowledge as an engineer, he approaches the possibility of evolution by first identifying three entities on earth which he says has obviously been designed by some design-capable entities that are on the earth, namely, (1) The Surface of the earth (2) Machines (3) Animals.

He then identifies the three allegedly design-capable entities that are on the earth, namely
(1) The Natural forces of the Earth (2) Human Beings (3) A Supernatural Being.
Starkey then goes on to demonstrate his assertions that (1) the natural forces of the earth have no intelligence and therefore could not have designed the animals. (2) Human beings, while capable of designing machines are not intelligent enough to design animals. (3) The only entity that could design the animals would have to be a supernatural being that is much more intelligent than any human.

In chapter nine Starkey pauses to address a most important question, “The Reasons Behind Evolutionist’s Beliefs”. Here he suggests three primary reasons that evolutionists believe that natural forces designed and constructed the animals. Reason 1- Many evolutionist are atheist. Reason 2- Many evolutionists gloss over the fact that significant evolutionary change can only come about by rearranging the DNA atoms and they assume that natural phenomena can account for it. Reason 3- having glossed over reason 2, they place great emphasis on natural selection. He then discusses each reason giving the reader an important insight into the thinking of the evolutionist and addressing the little known fact that atheism is the underlying concept upon which evolution is based.

Additionally, Starkey points out that by their own public admission, in the leading science journal Nature on July 23, 1998, a large majority of the biological and physical-science members of the National Academy of Sciences admitted they were atheist. Under the subtitle “Why Does Biology Attract Atheist? Starkey prudently discloses the fact that the field of biology enables them to pursue both their profession, and also their religion of atheism. He also points out the strangle hold that atheist have on the biology departments around the nation and their zealous promotion of atheism in schools and colleges, making them a hostile environment for anyone unwilling to ignore the fact supporting intelligent design.

From there, Starkey proceeds to examine DNA, mutation and natural selection and impressively demonstrates why evolution has never occurred on earth. Using mathematical probability and the basic nature of chance, Starkey effectively argues against the possibility of evolution.

After presenting four proofs that evolution is impossible, Starkey directs his attention towards the various “proofs” commonly presented by evolutionists in defense of their claim.
Examining nine of the most popular examples used by evolutionists to defend evolution, including the “tree of animals”, “embryos”, “Archaeopteryx”, “horses”, “fruit flies”, “homology”, “moths” and “finches”, Starkey soundly refutes them in an understandable language that the average person can comprehend. He even revisits the Miller-Urey experiment that for many years had duped the public and science community before it was exposed as a failed experiment.

In the twenty seventh Chapter titled “Facts & Assumptions” Starkey examines the nature of the evidence for evolution and challenges the reader to honestly place that “evidence” in one of the two categories. Stating what he considers to be the facts and what he considers purely assumption in each of the nine categories, Starkey briefly and unapologetically exposed some of the clear assumptions that are usually ignored when evolutionists discuss their “evidence”.

He ends the twenty seventh Chapter with “Conclusions with respect to "Numerous Scientific Evidences” in which he states:

“When asked to provide evidence that the theory of evolution is a fact, evolutionists usually cite the "numerous scientific evidences which support the theory of evolution." And what are these evidences? They are the items covered in this Chapter, and in the previous nine Chapters of this book.
But our careful analyses of the contents of these ten chapters indicate that each of these evidences consists of a few facts and many assumptions. An assumption is not a scientific evidence. It is merely a guess. And I think we must honestly conclude that in these "evidences" the assumptions overwhelm the facts, and we can safely say that evolution really is based on hypotheses, speculations, and partisan-motivated conjecture. But in this book, especially in Chapters 12, 13, 14, and 15, we have proved with mathematical certainty that evolution could not, and never did occur, and the theory of evolution is really nothing other than one huge invalid assumption.”

In Chapters twenty eight through twenty nine Starkey examines intelligent design and briefly compares it to evolution. In his examination, his goal is to determine which view is science and which is religion.

In his final words he is kind in his description of evolution as he again states his conclusion:

“Of the two theories, it seems obvious to me that animals of the earth were designed and constructed by a superhuman intelligent designer, and the theory of evolution is the greatest scientific mistake of all time.
Logic dictates that the animals of the earth were designed by some superhuman being.”

Others like myself have come to view evolution more as a hoax than a mistake, although admittedly there are many who accept it as true science fact because they have been deceived by those they trust to tell them the truth.

Over all I commend Walter L. Starkey on a job very well done, and I highly recommend this book for sincere students of science and non-science seeking to understand evolution and it’s true nature.

In spite of his excellent credentials as an expert engineer and authority on design and his clear grasp of science in general and biological science in particular, Starkey will no doubt become a target of the diehard evolution zealots at every level of the science and education community.

I congratulate him on his boldness and conviction to take a stand against the powers that be in education and science that delight in misinforming students and the public.
