2011 Chevy “Bumblebee” Camaro LT Credited with Protecting Spirit Roller Pen Company Owner

May 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Christine Swantack credits Chevy’s “Bumblebee” Camaro with protecting her during a high-speed, direct hit, side impact on the driver’s side door, enabling her to “walk away” with only minor injuries.

“I’m proud to say that I’m a big fan of the new General Motors Chevrolet Camaro. The safety features of my 2011 Camaro LT became wonderfully evident as I was T-boned on the driver’s side by another vehicle, as I was headed home after work, rolling into an intersection on a green light” stated Ms. Christine Swantack, co-owner of Spirit Pen Promotions LLC and EP Clinic Nurse at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center – Ross Heart Hospital. “The force of the impact spun Bumblebee and I around nearly 180 degrees. The other vehicle was brought to a dead-stop upon impact. I was wearing my seatbelt, as usual; the side window curtain and side airbags deployed immediately, protecting me.”  Ms. Swantack continued.

“I was able to exit my Camaro on my own, and walk away! My only injury was a broken rib on my lower left side and a slight burn on my neck from the seatbelt! I’m so thankful for GM having made my Bumblebee so tough! He’s built like a tank. Unfortunately, the opposing car was destroyed.” Ms. Swantack added.
