9th Annual Cannery Row Block Party Returns to The Row June 3rd

May 17, 2012 - PRLog -- MONTEREY, CALIF. –  The 9th Annual Cannery Row Block Party returns to the Row on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Locals and visitors are invited to celebrate the summer at this free day of fun and entertainment for all ages. Live music and wild animal shows are just a few of the attractions.

A free day of fun and entertainment along Cannery Row.

WHERE:   Steinbeck Stage (Steinbeck Plaza): Continuous live music featuring Michael Annotti, Chicano All Stars and Matt Masih & the Messengers

Family Fun Stage (Plaza in front of Bubba Gump Shrimp Co.): Alternating Wild Things Animal Shows and Special Memories Monkey Show throughout the day, featuring performing primates and animal education

Contests & Prizes:  Fun contests and activities for all ages throughout the day

Entertainment: Balloon Artisans Jimmie Whitworth & Family creating extravagant balloon sculptures

COST:   This event is FREE to all. The first hour of parking in the Cannery Row Garage, entrance on Foam Street, during the event is also FREE.
