Little Elm, TX. May 14, 2012
Times have been tough lately and lots of people are hurting. You hear how charitable donations are down all across the nation. Alphonso (Big Al) Willis the co-owner of Bigowl’s Auto Rescue of Little Elm, TX has decided to do something.  “I can’t solve all of the problems, but I can do my part” Said Big Al.   In order to do his part Big Al has decided to have The Bigowl’s Thank You Campaign.

Bigowl’s Auto Rescue is the top mobile auto repair service in the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex. Their service vehicles are self-contained repair garages on wheels. Bigowl’s Auto Rescue offers high quality work at low prices and the repairs come with a 12 month guarantee.  The central core of their business is customer service at the customer’s location and on the customer’s time schedule.  On each service call from Memorial Day until Veteran’s Day BigOwl’s will donate $5 to two chosen local charities. These two charities are Families for Effective Autism Treatment of North Texas (FEAT-NT) and Our Daily Bread. “Both of these organizations provide an important service to our community and we are proud to support them in our small way” stated Big Al.  To involve our customers Bigowl’s Auto Rescue technicians will have the customer select the charity. There is no cost to the customer. They still enjoy prices that are 50-70% lower while not having to waste all day sitting in a repair shop. We hope to raise awareness for these two great charities. For more information visit our website at www.bigowlsautorescue.net or call us at 214-875-3482.

FEAT-NT is located in Richland Hills, TX. They provide services to help families get the assistance they need to better care for their children with Autism, Asperger’s, ADHD, and ADD. They have a library of books, hold workshops, host support groups, and offer other educational services to assist families. They can be reached by calling 817-919-2228 and their website is www.featnt.org

Our Daily Bread is a community soup kitchen operating out of St Andrew Presbyterian Church in Denton, TX. They serve over 200 meals Monday through Friday, 52 weeks a year. They are open from 10am until 2pm and serve lunch beginning at noon.  In addition to the daily meals, Our Daily Bread provides weekend snack packs to homeless clients so they have nutritious meals on Saturday and Sunday. Our Daily Bread also has other programs to assist those in need, such as bus passes, referrals to social services, assistance with SNAP applications, hygiene products, on-site Doctor and Nurse for medical counseling, etc. They can be reached by calling 940-382-5604 and their website is http://www.ourdailybreaddenton.org
