The Signature Room at the 95th's Charity of the Month Program Moves Strongly Into May

May 3, 2012 - PRLog -- CHICAGO, IL- The year-long Charity of the Month program, created by owners Rick Roman and Nick Pyknis, continues into May with Connections for Abused Women and their Children (CAWC) as its beneficiary. The program has donated over $1 million to more than 200 non-profit organizations in Chicago since its inception in 1993. Throughout the month of May, CAWC will receive 10 percent of sales generated from the Signature Menu served in the main dining room.

Executive Chef Brandon K. Wolff has created an exclusive a la carte menu for the Charity of the Month program, which also features a Signature cocktail for the month of May. Enjoy the view from the 95th floor of the restaurant that Chicago looks up to with the Signature Sunset cocktail crafted with Knob Creek Single Barrel bourbon and blood red orange juice. Starters include fava bean bruschetta with fava bean-pea purée, Parmigiano, and Ligurian olive oil; spring onion soup served with crostini and Nancy’s Camembert; and a chopped kale salad with local spring vegetables and vegan “Caesar” vinaigrette. Delicious entrees include a seared Alaskan halibut served with leeks and saffron-clam broth or a duo of rabbit, which includes a bacon-wrapped rabbit loin and a braised rabbit leg served with green garlic potato purée. Finally, end on a sweet note with the rhubarb tart with honey whipped crème fraiche.
