April 30, 2012 - PRLog -- In a world full of Mediocre Pop Idol Music, where  generic Pop Stars with Banal inane Lyrics, Dominate the media channels of TV and  the Internet. Three Strangers have come together to fullfill a Dead Poets Prophetic legacy. To tell The Internet Generation exactly how it is.

"The Revolution will not be Online” is a a breathe of fresh air, its a Sign of the Times, a Zeitgeist protest song, a State of the Art address,  and an observation of the shallowness of Internet culture dominated by Artists and Organisations whose quest for domination of the Internet  is only matched by paucity of their content and product.

When Tim Young was  explaining "Gil Scott Herons" Classic Rap the "Revolution will not be televised" to a group of students. he realised that a lot of the references in the song meant nothing to them as they were 70's specific. So he decided to write an updated version to bring it up to date he posted his new lyric online. A few days later JC Carroll, a musician composer and performer spotted this on a friends Facebook page. A light bulb went off inside his head, the words fitted perfectly on a tune he had recorded recently for his future blues project. (21st century Blues)  So JC got in touch with Tim and said could he use the words on a recording .Tim said yes and  can I make the video. So within a week a Global "Collab" was born. A Collab is a piece of work done online between musicians and artists. Often these people have never been in a room together or indeed spoken which make the project internet specific and the content part of a collective global artistic intelligence. An Original electronic music was made by Jerry Miller aKA Zone Music Inc AKA JerriZ and embellished and adapted by JC to become first a tune called the Truth and then with Tim (And Gils) contribution. "The Revolution Will Not Be online.' TRWNBOL

Carroll is no Stranger to Protest music his 1979 Hit “Offshore Banking Business” Still resonates strongly with The Occupy Movement. and his million Selling “Sound of the Suburbs” is Considered a Punk Classic. He still tours regularly with his band “The Members” and is a prolific songwriter and artist.

A Piece of music that highlight the disposability and shallowness of the internet as we know it and parallels it with the dumbing down of the culture by television in the 70's"

Rock Critic and Strummer and Marley Biographer Chris Salewicz  "No-one understands the nuances and complexities of 21st Century Blues more than JC and his collaborators : on the record his satirical wit abounds, making you simultaneously chuckle at his observations whilst wryly admitting their wisdom. A rattling good earful!”
