The Isalnd display with Corian worktop is a key part of an Alno star high gloss highline display kitchen that takes front and centre position in the new Chelmsford flagship store for Spazio design.
The Corian surface features a Corian molded sink with drainer grooves, which has absolutely no sign of seperation it looks as though the sink has been carved directly out of one homogenous block along with the work surface. There are many misconceptions about Corian along with some imitations, but only one truth and one true Corian from Du Pont, corian is an amazing material for domestic and commercial applications
It comes in many colours and is incredibly hard, made from a combination of stone and acrylic, properties that allow it to be a resilient surface that can also be shaped and molded, while it is warm and smooth to the touch.
The most important feature to note is it is completely impervious to bacteria, so is the most hygienic material for food preparation and bathing areas. Its ultra fine molecular structure also means that it will not absorb colours from foods so is incredibly stain resistant.
The Alno and Corian display at Spazio Design has been very popular with visitors most who say when seeing it, "that's exactly what I'm looking for".  As a result Spazio have been commissioned to design many new kitchens and bathrooms that incorporate Corian as the surface of choice.
